Summary

• Dr. Aal is a Denver native and Psychiatrist with an interest in novel and Avante Garde treatments.. He enrolled in medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue his lifelong interests in combining philosophy of mind, art, and the biological sciences. Dr. Aal completed his Psychiatric training at the Sky Ridge Psychiatry Program in Aurora, CO. Dr. Aal served as Chief Resident during his residency and won several awards, including an award for scoring in the 99th percentile on the national psychiatry residency exam (PRITE). Dr. Aal is trained in ECT, TMS, Ketamine, and Suboxone administration. He has further training in CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness therapies. His hobbies include writing music, meditating, Jiu Jitsu, playing with his Australian Shepards, and staying up to date on the latest mental health treatments.
