Summary

• For the past 10 years, I have served the healthcare community in a variety of roles, including Chief Medical Officer, Division Director for Inpatient Pediatrics, Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatric Medicine, Pediatric Hospitalist, and General Pediatric Resident.
  
  As a Physician/Leader of the 21st century, I understand that the healthcare community is now faced with monumental challenges. It's clear that--if we are to keep pace with the speed of change, as well as with the needs and demands of patients, providers, and partners, we--in the healthcare community, must align our medical knowledge and practical experience with a strong commitment to collaboration, teamwork, and integrated care.
  
  In ten years in healthcare, I have:
  
  • Worked to cultivate strong partnerships at every level of staff and management.
  
  •Gained the perspective I need, as a clinician, to understand what provider teams and patients need to transform healthcare--together.
  
  •Collaborated with others to develop and implement successful service lines, improving care quality and metrics on a cost-efficient manner.
  
  •Leveraged my strong writing and public speaking skills to promote healthcare initiatives and programs in successful TV, print, and social media advertisements.
  
  In ten years, I've gained an in depth understanding of the role of healthcare as a business--and that's why, while working full time, I went back to school and obtained an MBA.
  
  With the present always in view and the future not far from my mind, I am eager and excited to continue learning, growing, achieving, and excelling--going above and beyond the call of duty to be a strong and dedicated physician leader. Someone in search of ways to meet the future needs of patients and other stakeholders in the healthcare community, knowing that the only constant in our world is and will continue to be change.
