Summary
- I am an Allergist-Immunologist with a clinical and research interest in immunology and immunologic disease. After completing my Internal Medicine training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Rutgers), I did a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute where I investigated the effect of ionizing radiation on the immune system. I subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease during which time I also studied neutrophil and phagocyte biology in patients with Chronic Granulomatous Disease and other immune system diseases. After my fellowship, I joined the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania where my focus was on adult and pediatric patients with primary immune deficiencies.
In 2014 I joined Bristol Myers Squibb in the Immunoscience late development group and worked on several assets, including Orencia (abatacept), targeting autoimmune diseases. I then served as Clinical Lead for Pulmonary and Liver Fibrosis overseeing the clinical aspects of studies for several assets. I then served as the Global Search and Evaluation Lead for Fibrosis in Business Development assessing opportunities to strategically enhance the portfolio.
I joined Novo Nordisk in December 2020 in the Clinical Development and Research group with a focus on NASH.
