Summary
- After 13 years as a Pediatric Emergency Physician, I became interested in medical cannabis. I am the owner and Medical Director of Canna-Centers Wellness & Education since 2008 and have treated over 18,000 patients using cannabinoid-based medicines. I specialize in drug-resistant epilepsy, severe autism, chronic pain and other refractory conditions. I authored two books on medical cannabis - Cannabis Revealed (2016) and Cannabis is Medicine (2020). I've published a number of articles (with Cannformatics) documenting the objective response of children with autism to cannabinoid treatment using pharmacometabolomics and machine learning.
In 2024, I created GoldsteinWellness.com to educate healthcare practitioners about medical cannabis, offering a free certificate course, monthly webinars, review of the literature for over 24 conditions, dosing tool and clinician forum. With over 400 registered clinicians, Goldstein Wellness helps practitioners integrate hemp cannabinoids into their practices.
