Summary

• I am a board certified urologist and founded Urology Associates in Eureka, Ca in 1977 which became Humboldt Medical Specialists in 2015 and I now work for them rarely taking call for HMS Urology and St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. I also work with Telemed2U offering temedicine consultations for rural clinics. . I went to Harvey Mudd College majoring in chemistry and graduatihg in 1967, and UCSF medical school graduating in 1971. I did a surgical internship at San Francisco General, then a year of surgical residency at UCSF and finally a urology residency at University of Iowa finishing 1977. I am interested in general urology with a special interest in endourology. I obtained a ATLS certification for 4 years 3/2017.
  I love living in a rural community and like rural medicine. I am a licensed pilot, mountain biker, ,motorcyclist, snowboard, and back country horse rider and packer. I do horse mounted archery and NRA high power shooting.
  I hate bureaucracy, and EMRs. But I have been chief of staff of Mad River Hospital, and president of the Humboldt-Del Norte County Medical Society.
