Summary
- Dr. Brian Worden is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) and founder of Alleviate Integrative Tinnitus Therapy, an evidence-based online program that makes effective tinnitus care accessible to anyone, anywhere. His career reflects a commitment to uniting rigorous science, clinical expertise, and patient-centered care to address some of the most complex challenges in ear, nose, and throat medicine.
He graduated summa cum laude in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, then earned his medical degree at UCSF, where he completed an additional research year in cancer biology at the National Institutes of Health through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University, training under some of the field’s foremost experts.
After residency, Dr. Worden joined Kaiser Permanente in Southern California, where he developed a broad surgical and clinical practice treating thyroid disease, sinonasal disorders, and other complex ENT conditions. Over time, he developed a special focus on tinnitus, a debilitating condition often considered untreatable. His clinical experience and extensive research led him to design a more comprehensive, integrative approach.
In 2020, he launched Alleviate Integrative Tinnitus Therapy, offering a structured, multi-faceted program incorporating tinnitus retraining therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive techniques, sound therapy, and targeted lifestyle strategies. The platform has earned recognition from patients and clinicians alike as a trusted resource in tinnitus management.
Beyond his professional work, Dr. Worden has provided volunteer clinical care through the Venice Family Clinic in Los Angeles and continues to support charitable causes locally and abroad. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hiking, cycling, and traveling, and most of all, spending time with his wife and children, who keep him grounded and inspired.
