Summary

  • Dr. Carlo M. Contreras completed his Surgical Oncology training at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. There, his focus was on the most effective approaches for complex oncologic cases. As a member of the OSU Surgical Oncology faculty he cares for patients with a variety of malignancies including melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma and other skin/soft tissue tumors. He promotes a patient-centered approach, and feels that effective communication is paramount in the multidisciplinary care of his patients. Dr. Contreras is pleased to offer a broad range of oncologic therapies, including minimally invasive and robotic approaches.
