- I am a board-certified interventional cardiologist and previously in private practice at the Sanger Clinic and Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC for 20 years. During that time I founded the Carolinas Cardiovascular Foundation and the interventional cardiology research program, as well as performing over 500 coronary interventions per year. I then transitioned in 2007 to the position of Chief Medical Officer and Divisional Vice President, Abbott Vascular, a division of Abbott, located in Santa Clara, California.
