  • Dr. Good is nationally recognized as a Top Doctor who specializes in the treatment of complex spinal conditions. Dr. Good’s expertise extends to all types of spine care including degenerative conditions, athletic injuries, complex scoliosis surgery and revision surgery to correct failed previous surgery. Dr. Good has dedicated his life to treating people with spinal problems. His path to becoming a spine surgeon started when he was just 10 days old as his father fell from a chairlift and sustained a major spinal injury. Dr. Good truly understands the pain and limitations that patients and families with spinal disease may suffer and he has worked tirelessly to improve the treatments available to his patients.

    Dr. Good has pioneered the use of robotics and navigation in spine surgery, establishing himself as one of the world experts in the field. Dr. Good has performed the first and most advanced robotic spine surgery in the region, including the use of robotics for minimally invasive surgery, scoliosis surgery and Dr. Good also performed the first open robotic sacroiliac joint fusion surgery in North America. Dr. Good serves as the principal investigator and oversees multiple studies advancing the science of robot-guided spine surgery.

    Dr. Good has also pioneered the use of regenerative stem cell therapy for lumbar disc disease, helping many patients with low back pain to improve their quality of life and avoid surgery and he has performed the most intra-discal injections of stem cells in the region. Dr. Good is currently studying the outcomes of his patients and using these outcome studies to improve access to these revolutionary treatments for more people who suffer from back pain. Through his leadership and vast experience, Dr. Good is reshaping the future of spine surgery and his research has helped develop surgical techniques that are proven to improve patient safety, decrease radiation during surgery.
