Summary
- I am a Board Certified ophthalmologist specializing in corneal and refractive surgery. I have specific interest and expertise corneal transplantation, including DSEK. I also perform a significant number of excimer laser phototherapeutic keratectomies (PTKs) using the excimer laser to remove abnormalities from the surface of the cornea to improve vision and comfort. I perform primarily advanced surface ablation (PRK) for my refractive surgery patients. I was President of the Cornea Society from 2014-2015). I was the Senior Secretary for Clinical Education for the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and on its Board of Trustees. I am currently the President-Elect of the AAO.
