Summary

• I am currently a second year Clinical Fellow in the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. I earned my MD from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed my Pediatric Residency & Chief Residency at the University of Tennessee. I am also pursing a Master’s in Medical Education at the University of Cincinnati.
  
  My clinical training includes specialized certifications in recovery ally and suicide prevention training, contraceptive device insertions (both Nexplanon and Kyleena/Mirena), and various adolescent health interventions such as SBIRT. I plan to specialize in contraceptive and sexual health services, college health, and mental health care. I also have experience with transgender health care and eating disorder management.
  
  Currently, I am actively involved in teaching and mentoring of medical students, along with having routine didactics with the residents at Cincinnati Children's to demonstrate a strong commitment to improving adolescent health outcomes. Furthermore, my current research focuses on social determinants of health within the pediatric population and HPV vaccine communication trainings, with the ultimate aim to develop educational tools that support learners in delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care to adolescents. I am especially interested in creating educational initiatives that prepare future clinicians to engage with adolescent patients effectively and compassionately!
