He completed his medical degree at the Federal University of Parana Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and pursued fellowships in pituitary surgery, epilepsy, cerebrovascular, and skull base surgery at the University of Virginia Medical Center and UPMC Medical Education. Currently Professor at Ohio State University College of Medicine and Vice -Chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery, he previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Prevedello's expertise includes Pituitary tumors, rathke's cleft cysts, neurosurgical oncology, primary brain tumors, and skull base surgery (meningiomas, craniopharyngiomas, Chordomas, Chondrosarcomas and CSF leak management). His research contributions include publications on specialized surgical approaches and the use of artificial intelligence in neurosurgery. Dr. Prevedello is also involved in clinical trials.
