Summary
- I am a second-generation neurosurgeon specializing in complex spinal oncology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the James Cancer Center—the nation’s third-largest NCI-designated cancer center. My clinical focus centers on rare and challenging spinal tumors, with fellowship training under Dr. Daniel Sciubba and Dr. Larry Lo.
My research integrates computational methods and large-scale data analysis to address critical questions in neurosurgical care. Through the Neurosurgical Digital Intelligence Lab, I lead projects that apply data science to enhance surgical decision-making, spanning topics from AI applications in healthcare to digital biomarker discovery. My work has been published in leading neurosurgical and oncology journals and aims to bridge the gap between data-driven insights and real-world patient outcomes.
I serve as faculty at several national spine surgery courses and have been recognized for excellence in education, including five consecutive Outstanding Resident Educator awards. I’m driven by a simple goal: to bring clarity, thoughtfulness, and compassion to some of the toughest decisions in spine care.
