- Dr. Tsay has been a clinician and physician leader whose career has focused on the development of innovative medical devices and health technologies. At Apple, he led the clinical team responsible for several novel AF detection and monitoring technologies including FDA-approved devices such as the ECG, Irregular Rhythm Notification, and AFib History Software as a Medical Device on Apple Watch. Most recently as Chief Medical Officer at Cue Health, Dr. Tsay oversaw the first of its kind DeNovo FDA Approval for a molecular at home diagnostic test. From his combined academic and industry experiences, Dr. Tsay brings significant expertise in clinical, regulatory, and medical affairs for health technology development.
Dr. Tsay received his MD and PhD degrees from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology / Electrophysiology fellowships at Columbia University Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
