- I am a pediatric endocrinologist with an active clinical practice servicing children with endocrine disorders and diabetes. I am also an established scientist in the field of the neuroendocrine development of the Limbic-Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal axis (LHPA). My research program integrates human and basic science studies studying the effects of early life adversity, the risk for psychopathology and endocrine disorders in childhood. I am also interested and proficient in the management of diabetes in infants, children, teenagers and young adults. have extensive experience in the recruitment, administration and interpretation of diagnostic interviews and other clinical psychosocial research tools.
