Summary

• It's been an exceptional career run and a privilege to serve the healthcare needs of children in Richmond, Virginia for more than twenty years. As a serial entrepreneur and physician, I've bought or started several medical practice models and consulted for numerous others (including those in which I've been a principal investor.) I've made a career commitment to delivering better and more efficient healthcare for the pediatric population. I'm a native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia so I count it among my greatest blessings that my Southern colleagues have not held my humble beginnings against me. I completed my internship and residency at the Children’s Medical Center of VCU (back when it was simply the department of Pediatrics at MCV) and I'm board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. I am also a fellow and a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics, and I'm an active member of their Section on Administration and Practice Management as well as their Council on Communication & Media. Among my most important accomplishments, I count my decades-long marriage and the five children we brought into the world. Game-changes, one and all.
