Summary

• Dr. Rivas completed his pediatric internship and pediatric residency at the UMDNJ-University Hospital/Children's Hospital of New Jersey (Currently Rutgers-Medical School) in 1992. He started his practice in Austin, TX in 1993 and remained there for 13 years before moving to Gonzales, TX in 2006.
  He has extensive experience in the care of complicated and healthy newborns as well as hospital and ambulatory care of children and adolescents up to the age of 21 years old. Beyond taking care of the whole spectrum of pediatrics he has special interests in Dermatology, Asthma/Allergies, Infectous Diseases and critically ill newborns and infants.
