Overview of Dr. Brooks
Jaysson T. Brooks, MD, is a board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon dedicated to restoring the quality of life in children with a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. He earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2011 and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2016. Driven by a profound passion for pediatric orthopedics, Dr. Brooks pursued subspecialty training in pediatric orthopedic surgery and scoliosis at Rady Children's Hospital of San Diego. While his clinical and research interests have a strong focus on pediatric spine and hip disorders, he is committed to seeing and treating all children with musculoskeletal injuries or disorders. Actively engaged in research, Dr. Brooks focuses on advancing the understanding and treatment of pediatric spine and hip conditions, as well as contributing to orthopedic education and promoting diversity within the field. He has authored numerous publications and presents his work on a national and international stage. Dr. Brooks currently sees patients at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas and holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
