Summary

Dr. John Janikas is a Regional Vice President for the US Acute Care Solutions East Division. Prior to becoming a VP he was the Medical Director for Samaritan Hospital (Troy, NY) and Albany Memorial Hospital (Albany, NY), and was a faculty member and co-creator of the USACS Efficiency Academy.

Dr. Janikas received his undergraduate training at Elmira College in Elmira, NY, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA, and completed his emergency medicine residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has an interest in EMS and is the Medical Director and Chairman of the Board for Clifton Park Halfmoon EMS.
