Overview of Dr. Messenger
Dr. John C. Messenger is a cardiologist based in Aurora, CO, with subspecialties in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is the Director of Interventional Cardiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Clinical Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at the University of Colorado Hospital. He graduated from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 1993 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Colorado. Dr. Messenger is experienced in coronary artery disease as well as structural and valvular heart disease intervention. He has multiple publications in prominent cardiology journals and has been active with the American College of Cardiology's NCDR and is now Secretary for the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
