Dr. Pattaras holds positions as a James C. Kennedy Chair of Prostate Surgery and Professor at Emory University School of Medicine, where he has been instrumental since 2000. His clinical experience spans prostate cancer, renal (kidney) oncology, adrenalectomy, urologic oncology, and minimally invasive urologic surgery. He has taught hundreds of physicians and student physicians in his more than 30 years of experience in academic urology. He started the robotics and minimally invasive programs at Emory University hospital as well as one of the highest volume robotic prostate and kidney surgeons in the country.
