  • Jolie Chang, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Chang received her master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed her medical degree and residency training at the University of California, San Francisco.


    Dr. Chang specializes in minimally invasive approaches for salivary gland surgery including sialendoscopy and sleep apnea surgery. She also has clinical expertise in surgery for obstructive sleep apnea and ultrasonography for head and neck disorders and has lectured nationally on these topics.

    Dr. Chang’s research currently focuses on sleep apnea pathophysiology and health decision making. She has studied and published on topics relating to auditory function in Parkinson’s disease, hearing loss in bone diseases, and techniques and outcomes after sialendoscopy and sialolithiasis therapies.
