She completed her medical education at the University of California, Irvine, followed by a pediatrics residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Los Angeles County–Harbor–UCLA Medical Center.
She has been in private practice at South Bay Allergy & Asthma Associates since 1991. Earlier in her career, she served as volunteer clinical faculty at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she held the title of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and supervised residents and medical students.
Dr. Schoettler’s clinical interests include asthma, urticaria, allergic rhinitis, eczema, and chronic sinus disease. She has authored peer-reviewed publications related to chronic sinusitis imaging and immunoglobulin therapies. She was honored with the Compassionate Doctor Award in 2011.
