• Kathryn M. Vorwald, DDS, MD, was trained as an oral & maxillofacial surgeon and specializes in head & neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery, currently practicing in Tampa, FL at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and her dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She completed her residency in Detroit, MI, at Ascension Health. She then completed an AHNS fellowship for further specialization in head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery at Moffitt Cancer Center. She specializes in head & neck oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgery and is experienced in the treatment of head and neck cancers, including but not limited to benign and malignant tumors of the facial skeleton and jaws, neck, mouth, throat, voice box, and salivary glands such as squamous cell carcinoma of the salivary glands, squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity, squamous cell carcinoma of the lip, and squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx.
