He pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson. Prior to joining Arizona Digestive Health - Glendale, he served as division chief for gastroenterology at Valleywise and was a clinical associate professor at Creighton School of Medicine. Dr. Chuang has expertise in managing in various GI and liver conditions including gastroesophageal reflux disease, dysphagia, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowl syndrome, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, hepatitis B and C and many different cancers. He is also an expert endoscopist. His research has been published in several journals, including New England Journal of Medicine, Gastroenterology and the American Journal of Gastroenterology. He received Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2011.
