Summary

  • Dr. Dahlman currently works as a general pediatrician in the Milwaukee area Aurora Health Care and serves in leadership as Aurora Health Care’s Medical Director of Aurora Children's Health. He oversees over 100 pediatric providers who provide pediatric care in over 40 clinics throughout the eastern half of the State of Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. He is responsible for innovating and implementing strategies in delivering health care to children within Aurora outpatient and inpatient centers.

    Dr. Dahlman received his B.S. in Engineering Physics and B.A. in Religion from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. He attended medical school at University of Wisconsin Medical School where he earned the American Academy of Pediatrics Summer Externship Award, the Medical Student Prize in Neurology, and the Bjorn Lund Scholarship Award. He participated in a medical student exchange with the University of Oslo Faculty of Medicine completing an international elective in neurology at the Ullevål Universitetssykehus in Norway. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. As part of a representative coalition from the American Academy of Pediatrics, he participated in a trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia where he had the opportunity to speak with several Russian pediatric leaders. After completing his residency, he began his career at Aurora Health Care as a general pediatrician in 2008. He has served in several leadership roles since 2011.

    Dr. Dahlman is board-certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is an active member of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
