Summary

• Dr. Kristen Matsik was raised in Richmond, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center. She and her husband moved to San Francisco in 2000 where she worked at California Pacific Medical Center. Kristen is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and specializes in high-risk obstetrics, laparoscopic surgery, and operative hysteroscopy. She especially enjoys adolescent gynecology. She is a member of the North American Menopause Society as well as the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. She was elected a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians in 2004. She has also been a Clinical Professor at the University of California in San Francisco since 2008 and received teaching awards in 2013 and 2015. She is currently director of the UCSF medical student clerkship in Marin. She has been named by Marin Magazine as a Top Doctor every year since 2014.
  In her spare time, Kristen enjoys playing tennis, hiking, biking and spending time with her husband and three children.
