Summary
- I am a board-certified physician associate with six years of clinical experience, currently practicing in infectious diseases (ID).
My primary focus is on outpatients recently discharged from the hospital with an infection, many of whom remain on intravenous antibiotics. Additionally, I balance my outpatient work with inpatient ID consulting for both the general and oncologic populations. I am particularly interested in multi-drug resistant bacterial infections within the hematologic and solid malignancy population, antimicrobial stewardship, APP/medical student education, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
Outside of my clinical work, I am currently participating in various research projects looking at donor and recipient transplant infections as well as retrospective data for patients with Staph lugdunensis infections. Additionally, I served as a Co-Director of the ID Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and currently work as an adjunct faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University East Falls Campus Physician Assistant Program, my alma mater.
I'm passionate about my work, and I believe that reflects in my overall care, time, and dedication to my patients.
