Summary

• I am a Board Certified Pediatrician working as a Newborn Hospitalist for the last 20 years with Ascension Seton Family of Hospitals. I joined the University of Texas Dell Medical School Faculty as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in 2016. I have special interest in Lactation Medicine and is an active Board Member of Mother's Milk Bank of Austin. I am a Fellow of Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine since 2017and has been certified as an IBCLC since 2013. I obtained my Medical degree from the Calicut medical College- University of Calicut, INDIA and completed my Pediatrics Residency training at Children’s Hospital of Austin. I have been practicing in Austin with Seton Family of Hospitals since 2000 and has been a teaching faculty for Pediatrics and Family Practice Residency Programs. Our team has been instrumental in establishing the Donor Milk program in the Well Baby Nursery at Seton Medical Center, Austin.
  My another area of interest is in AAP's Neonatal Resuscitation Program. I am a AAP NRP Instructor Mentor and has been training residents and other faculty for NRP Courses.
