Summary

  • I am a Vietnamese American and was born and raised in Roxbury, New Jersey. I went to the University of Pennsylvania and studied psychology there. I learned to speak Spanish by helping the Latino community in Philadelphia and playing soccer. I moved to Florida in 2014 for medical school at Nova Southeastern University and now call Miami my home. I love learning languages so I can connect better with other people by learning about their culture and background. I am fluent in Spanish and English and can speak basic Vietnamese and Arabic.

I decided to go into the medicine because I have always enjoyed helping others. I developed a strong passion to work with the under-served population during college while volunteering for clinics and connecting patients to resources. In Philadelphia I volunteered at clinics for undocumented immigrants and went on mission trips to Ecuador and Boston working with the homeless.

A good day at work means I can treat my patients and help them understand their diagnosis. My greatest satisfaction is for my patients to leave with a smile on their face and to be the person that they can trust with their health.

I want you to know that at Sanitas you are in good hands. I will always give you my compassion and do everything possible to provide you with quality care.

When I take off my coat, I am a huge foodie and am crazy about playing soccer. You can find me on the field at least three times a week. I also love Latin dancing, Salsa and Cumbia are my favorites!
