Dr. Ibraheem is passionate about managerial epidemiology, & the private or business side of medicine. Dr. Ibraheem is committed to collaboratively advancing the practice & to contributing to its 50+ years of legacy.

    Before joining this practice , Dr. Ibraheem served as Academic Faculty of Neurology and Epidemiology at the University of Kentucky (UK) and as the Alternate Neurology Service Chief at United States Department of Veterans Affairs - Lexington Veterans Medical Center - Troy Bowling Campus, for 4+ years.

    Dr. Ibraheem is a graduate of Tufts Medical Center (New England Medical Center) in Boston. In addition, he is a former Fulbright scholar and a medical (EIS) officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

    Dr. Ibraheem is determined to use epidemiology methods to create positive changes in neurology and dedicated to advancing public health. Whether it is in the area of managerial epidemiology, neuroepidemiology or neurology health policy, his goal is to make a difference in the realm of neurology healthcare and evidence-based neurological care.

    Dr. Ibraheem has been awarded the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Award, the CDC National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases Director’s Award, the CDC Domestic Emergency Response Award, the CDC-Charles C. Shepard Science Award, the New Mexico Department of Health’s Service Award, Tufts Award for Excellence in Medical Teaching, & UK Awards in Teaching, Mentoring, and Healthcare Executive Leadership.

    His research interests include neuroepidemiology, cerebrovascular research, neurology health policy, neurotoxicology, neurology healthcare, and evidence-based neurological care.

    His clinical interests include General Neurology, Hospitalist Neurology, Neuro-infections, and Headaches.
