- Maneesh Batra, MD, MPH, is the Associate Director – Pediatric Residency Program as well as Professor, Neonatology and Adjunct Associate Professor, Global Health. Dr. Batra attended medical school at Stanford University Medical Center, completed residency at University of Washington School of Medicine, and finished a fellowship at University of Washington School of Medicine focusing on neonatal-perinatal medicine. Dr. Batra's clinical interests include newborn health in developed and developing countries, global neonatal health, and survival and long-term outcomes. Dr. Batra strives to partner with families to provide the most appropriate, compassionate, and humanistic care possible. Whether he is providing aggressive medical intervention or intensive supportive care at the end of life, his philosophy is to be present for the family, and ever aware of the honor they have given him in entrusting him with their child's well-being.
