Summary

• I am a board-certified pediatrician with 20 years of clinical experience, and I am also a public health nutritionist and anti-diet wellness expert.
  
  
  I have transitioned my career mission from full-time clinical care to providing support and education to other health professionals so they are able to participate in, and promote, a weight-neutral approach to practice.
  
  
  Weight stigma in the health professions is a significant public health crisis as evidenced by the growing rates of eating disorders, body image concerns, weight cycling, chronic dieting, and disordered eating behaviors that have been normalized in our health culture.
  
  
  All of my content and programming support the Health at Every Size philosophy (HAES®), the framework of Intuitive Eating, and a weight-inclusive, body neutral approach to health and wellness, which has clearly been shown to be the most evidence-based, ethical approach to clinical care.
