A board-certified internist and cardiologist, Dr. Schiffer previously served as Executive Director of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Prior to that, he was SVP and Physician Executive for the western region of Northwell. In addition to his administrative duties at Northwell Health, Dr. Schiffer maintains an active practice in clinical and consultative cardiology.
Dr. Schiffer earned his medical degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, and a bachelor s degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. He also holds a Certificate in Health Care Delivery Management from the Cornell University Graduate School of Management, and he is a graduate of Harvard Business School's General Management Program.
