Dr. Matthew Kurian is a hematologist/oncologist at St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky, with a clinical focus in breast and genitourinary malignancies. He completed his oncology training at the NCI-designated University Hospitals/Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he served as Chief Fellow, and has an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed research, national presentations, and leadership roles.

His clinical and research interests center on advancing precision oncology, including radioligand therapy, artificial integellience in cancer, and ctDNA-based disease monitoring. He is the leader of the breast oncology clinical trial program at St. Elizabeth and is at the forefront of bringing next-generation therapies to patients in the community setting.

He is widely recognized for his leadership in oncology innovation, serving on national committees within ASCO and Kentucky and collaborating with industry and academic partners to expand access to clinical trials, integrate artificial intelligence into oncology practice, and improve outcomes for patients across diverse populations.
