He then attended Dartmouth College where he earned his B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Social Behavior and studied Spanish literature and art at the Universidad de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain.

    Dr. Truesdale completed his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. During medical school, he completed the prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship in Urologic Oncology where he studied under his mentors in the Department of Urology at Columbia University completing research on robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer.

    Dr. Truesdale then completed his 6-year urology residency training at The University of California in San Francisco, in the Department of Urology. During his residency training, he completed a 1-year surgical education research project and educational curriculum through the Department of Medical Education at The University of California in San Francisco.

    In addition to general urology, Dr. Truesdale has a special interest in Urologic Oncology, Reconstruction and Urinary Stone Disease.
