Summary

  • Dr. Jantz obtained his MD degree from the University of Washington. Following his residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington, Dr. Jantz did his pulmonary and critical care fellowship and interventional pulmonology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to coming to North Florida Regional Medical Center, Dr. Jantz was a faculty member at the University of Florida from 1999 to 2021 in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, advancing to the academic rank of Clinical Professor of Medicine. While at the University of Florida, he served as the Director of Interventional Pulmonology, Director of Diagnostic Bronchoscopy, Co-Director of the thoracic oncology program, and program director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Jantz’s focus is on interventional pulmonology, lung cancer, and thoracic oncology although he also treats a variety of pulmonary disorders. He is nationally and internationally recognized in the areas of interventional pulmonology and lung cancer. He has served on the board of directors for the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and the lung cancer guideline writing group for the American College of Chest Physicians.
