I am board-certified in Adolescent Medicine/Pediatrics, practice at Boston Children's Hospital, and am the Director of the Clinic for Interactive Media and Internet Disorders (CIMAID), dedicated to the diagnosis and care of children and adolescents struggling with Problematic Interactive Media Use and other media-related health disorders, and Founding Director of the Center on Media and Child Health, a research, education and innovation center dedicated to understanding and responding to the positive and negative effects of media (TV, internet, video games, etc.) on the physical, mental, and social health of children and adolescents.
