- Dr. Moethu Win is an board certified interventional cardiologist with special interest in complex coronary and peripheral intervention and vein treatment. He treats patients with coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease and vein disorders.
He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training in Burma. He then received another medical training in United Kingdom where he was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians.
He then moved to the United States for Residency training at Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. He then completed cardiology fellowship training from Mount Sanai Medical School, New York and interventional cardiology fellowship training from University of Arkansas for Medical Science.
He performs various cardiovascular mini-invasive procedures – complex coronary and peripheral intervention and stent placement, vein ablation and vein stent placement, pacemaker, defibrillators and BiV ICD placement, pulmonary embolectomy, DVT thrombectomy, IVC filter placement and removal.
He enjoys spending times with his family in his free time. He loves playing table tennis and is avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
