• Dr. Mohammad Jafferany is a psychiatrist/psychodermatologist based in Saginaw, MI, with a subspecialty in psychodermatology. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Hennepin Healthcare/Regions Hospital and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Washington. He has been a professor at Central Michigan University Covenant Healthcare College of Medicine in Saginaw, MI. Dr. Jafferany is experienced in treating trichotillomania, excoriation disorder, delusion of parasitosis, and other psychocutaneous disorders. He has published more than 225 peer reviewed articles in journals and edited/authored 8 books on Psychodermatology. He is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and president of Association for Psychocutaneous Medicine of North America. He is also member board of directors of International Society of Dermatology. He is an invited International speaker on Psychodermatology and has conducted Psychodermatology workshops in different parts of the world.
