• Dr. Nancy J. Smiley joined Straub Medical Center in June 2016. She is Residency-trained and Board Certified in Family Medicine.
  
  Dr. Smiley has a special interest in keeping her patients healthy through Health Care Maintenance, including immunizations and annual physical exams for early detection of disease. She practices full spectrum Family Medicine including Well Baby & Child visits, work & sports physicals, chronic disease management such as asthma & diabetes, acute issues such as sprains & illness, and GYN including Pap smears.
  
  Dr. Smiley obtained her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska in 1996 and completed her Family Medicine Residency at UNMC/Offutt Air Force Base in 1999. She was a Family Doctor for the military for 20 years and retired in March 2016.
  
  Dr. Smiley is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has called Hawai‘i home since 2001. She enjoys surfing, swimming, volunteering, and Celtic culture and history.
