Summary

  • When he is not working with his patients at RIO Orthopedics and Sports Medicine or helping a local sports team as their team sports physician, Dr. Iagulli gives lectures around Dallas, Fort Worth, and across the nation. Several times a year, Dr. Iagulli flies around the country to help as an instructor of courses on arthroscopic surgery. These courses range from entry level, residency, and advanced Master's courses. From advanced rotator cuff repair, superior capsular reconstruction of the shoulder, to the most advanced techniques for ACL reconstruction and instability of the knee and shoulder, he tours the country, sharing his knowledge with labs, other surgeons, and students. On top of being a top-notch educator, Dr. Iagulli has also been published in numerous medical journals. Recently, he lectured on advanced superior capsular reconstruction on massive rotator cuff tears at the Texas Orthopedic Association Annual Meeting, and his paper on repair of massive rotator cuff tears was published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine. No matter how busy he gets with his work at RIO Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Iagulli always tries to continue his research so that he can make advances in the field of arthroscopic management of injuries, particularly shoulder pain. He is also highly experienced in the use of diagnostic ultrasound and regenerative medicine, utilizing the biologic healing power of amniotic tissue allograft, platelet rich plasma (PRP), and mesenchymal stem cells to treat a vast array of conditions, allowing him to successfully treat any and all patients.
