Summary

  • Dr. Nic has worked as a pediatric hematologist/oncologist, pediatric hospitalist, and general pediatrician. He also practices integrative and functional medicine. In 2020 he opened Pimri Pediatrics in Mesa, Arizona. There he works with infants, children, young adults, and their families coping with chronic health issues such as gastrointestinal distress, fatigue, eczema, inattention, hyperactivity, difficulty sleeping, food and environmental sensitivities, and headaches. These conditions and others can be difficult to treat by conventional medicine but frequently benefit from an Integrative and Functional Medicine approach. By using science, clinical wisdom, and innovative tools, he can often identify the underlying causes of chronic diseases. These include predisposing factors, triggers, and events that preceded the shift from health to illness and can be affected by genetics, nutrition, and lifestyle behaviors. He works with patients and families to create a personalized program by prescribing safe and effective, evidence-based treatments, behavior and dietary changes to seek optimum health.
