  • Dr. Pe'er Dar is a specialist in Fetal Care, which includes Prenatal Diagnosis, Medical Management and In-utero Treatment of complex fetal cases. He is currently a Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Director of the Division of Fetal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Clinical Genetics. His main office is in the Bronx, NY and he also sees patients in his office in Westchester. Dr. Dar received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University and has been in practice over 20 years. He started his career in Israel as an Obstetrician Gynecologists with a sub-specialty in Maternal Fetal Medicine and then completed additional training in clinical genetics in the US and in Fetal Surgery in Europe. The focus of his career is in diagnosis and management of pregnancies that are complicated by birth defects, growth restriction and complex cases of twin and triplet pregnancies. He performs high-end prenatal ultrasound, echocardiograms of the fetus, diagnostic procedures as amniocentesis or CVS as well as complex in-utero surgeries on the fetus such as laser fetoscopy for Twin to Twin transfusion syndrome, in-utero blood transfusions, fetal shunts and EXIT procedures.
