• I am a Board-Certified General Pediatrician with a combined 12 years of training and clinical experience in the USA and Peru. I speak Spanish and English at a native speaker level.
  
  I have practiced my specialty in varied settings from community outpatient clinics (both private and not-for-profit), inpatient pediatric wards in national and regional referral centers to performing neonatal care of well and sick newborns. I have seen a wide spectrum of pathologies and patients with different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
  
  My nonlinear and varied professional trajectory has taught me the skill of adapting to different practice environments. Also, I consider that my international medical experience, along with my personal, cultural, and social backgrounds are an advantage that helps me connect and empathize with the diverse patient population in the state of California.
  
  Ultimately, it is in the outpatient setting where I feel most at home and thrive. I believe the medical home is one of the pillars of healthy childhoods and healthy communities.
