• Dr. Richard Shewbridge was appointed a Cleveland Clinic staff endocrinologist in October 2010. He started endocrinology practice in Medina, Ohio in 1996. Dr. Shewbridge received his medical degree in 1988 from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as endocrinology fellowship training, in the United States Air Force. Dr. Shewbridge is American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. Dr. Shewbridge is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) in Rootstown, Ohio.

This affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic Endocrinology & Metabolism Institute began in 2016, and aims to develop strategies for reducing the burden of diabetes and obesity in Mississippi.
