- Dr. Robert Fabric is a plastic surgeon based in Aventura, FL, specializing in aesthetic/cosmetic plastic surgery, breast reconstruction, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed his medical education at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, followed by multiple residencies, including Johns Hopkins University and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He currently serves as a Voluntary Professor in the Department of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami and is part of the Voluntary Faculty at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He has hosted several international meetings on aesthetic surgery and a national meeting on microvascular treatment of lymphedema. His published works include research on wound healing using cryopreserved human umbilical cord and pleural drainage. Dr. Fabric is recognized by memberships and awards such as Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gross Anatomy Award from the University of Miami Medical School. While in the Air Force he represented our country with certain contracts and did research with NASA and was one of the first to do surgery under simulated space conditions.
