Summary
- I am a board certified pediatrician with fellowship training in research. My research is in the area of nutrition and childhood obesity. I hope to make an impact on this epidemic that is greatly affecting our children especially children of color and low income populations. I hope to find low cost interventions for children that can be developed in their own communities as well as understanding how culture plays a roll in helping or hindering getting to and maintaining a healthy weight for children.
