• Dr. Rona Silkiss is an oculofacial plastic surgeon based in San Francisco and Oakland, CA, specializing in ophthalmic plastic, reconstructive and orbital surgery since 1988. She completed her medical degree at Northwestern University and pursued residencies in both pediatrics and ophthalmology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and UCLA. She also completed a fellowship at UCLA in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Since 2000, she has been the Chief of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at California Pacific Medical Center. Dr. Silkiss has expertise in procedures such as blepharoplasty and facial cosmetic surgery. She has a strong research interest in the use of biologics for thyroid eye disease.
