Summary

• Sree Metikala, an Orthopaedic Surgery specialist, graduated from Osmania Medical College, India, in 1999 and completed his Orthopaedic residency at the same college in 2003. He then pursued AO Trauma Fellowship at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, followed by annual subspecialty fellowships, including Paediatric Limb Reconstruction at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, England; Foot & Ankle Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, PA, and Sports Medicine at the Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center in State College, PA before joining the VCU Medical Center in September 2020. He is now affiliated with VCU Healthcare institutions in Richmond, South Hill, and Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond. He has 20 years of clinical experience in the field of Orthopaedics and currently practices Foot and Ankle Surgery, Sports, and General Orthopaedics.
  He has a keen research interest and has published several articles in various Orthopaedic journals. Besides, he comes with a rich teaching background in India and England and presently serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the VCU School of Medicine, Richmond.
